Join NAI Bergman Associates and Friends as We Visit the Largest Homeless Shelter in Cincinnati and the Tri-State, Shelterhouse.
Cincinnati, Ohio – 12/14/2016 – More than 10 years ago , in an effort to directly help the homeless in our community, Larry Bergman & Billy Gillman began providing food to Cincinnati’s largest homeless Shelter in the Region (Shelterhouse, located at 217 West 12 St, Cincinnati Ohio). In recent years what was one Drop Inn Center is now two facilities that serve men in one building and women in another. The shelters in our area are in dire need of food and much more in order to provide the basic needs of our homeless especially at this time of the year. What started with Billy and I visiting Restaurant Depot and purchasing wholesale food which we delivered to the Drop Inn Center has led to a many charitable people and their families wanting to join us in the effort. We now find that the folks that joined us in the past want to know when we will be organizing this charitable event this year. If you are available, please join us the morning of Friday, December 23rd at 9am. It’s an opportunity for you to bring your family and friends, participate in a good cause and see first-hand the appreciation of charitable giving. See the attached photos from our drive in 2015. Where: NAI Bergman Corporate Office, 4695 Lake Forest Drive, Blue Ash
When: 9 am, December 23, 2016.
Details: We will leave NAI Bergman’s office located at 4695 East Lake Forest Drive, Blue Ash at 9:45 am and head over to Restaurant Depot located at 4501 W. Mitchell Avenue (542-3000). We’ll spend about an hour shopping, loading our cars and trucks and heading over to the Shelter House located at 411 Gest Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. While this building serves homeless men, we deliver the items to this one location and the staff will divide and deliver what we brought to the women’s shelter. We should be finished by 12:30 pm which will leave plenty of time for everyone to then begin their holiday festivities!
