Richard Ferguson brings a diverse and highly practical background to his work in commercial real estate, combining decades of business ownership with hands-on construction and development experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is licensed to practice real estate in both Ohio (since 2007) and Kentucky.

Background & Experience

Over the course of 30+ years, Richard owned and operated a successful food manufacturing business, giving him firsthand insight into the operational, logistical, and strategic challenges business owners face daily.

In addition to his entrepreneurial background, Richard has extensive experience in commercial construction. Before and during his time in the bakery industry, he supervised commercial construction projects, overseeing tenant build-outs and ground-up developments. He coordinated trades, managed inspections, and enforced safety standards, developing a deep, working knowledge of how buildings function from initial site work through final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy. This experience allows him to approach real estate with a unique, solutions-oriented perspective.

Today, Richard is a commercial real estate broker with NAI Bergman, where he focuses primarily on industrial properties. He leverages both his construction expertise and business ownership experience to guide clients through complex real estate decisions. He works closely with businesses to think strategically about their current operations and future growth, translating those needs into effective real estate solutions.

Whether advising a local operator or supporting a growth-stage company, Richard is known for delivering grounded, practical insight. His ability to bridge construction knowledge, business operations, and real estate strategy enables his clients to make confident decisions that position them for long-term success.
